Charts, with every data point labelled
This is the RIAL Charts workspace. All instruments, prices and times below are synthetic and fictional, generated deterministically for engineering and review.
Display
How numbers and times are shown. This never changes a value, a data right or a calculation: prices keep the instrument's own decimal places. Without a session the choice applies to this visit only; nothing is stored in the browser.

SYNTHETIC DATA - fictional, not market data
Source, as-of time and licence appear with the data.
- Daily (1d)One stored bar per trading session
- Hourly (1h)Stored hourly bars, last 15 sessions
- Weekly (1w, derived)Built on the server from daily bars by venue-local ISO week (Mon-Sun)
- CandlestickOpen, high, low and close candles
- OHLC barsOpen (left tick), high-low range, close (right tick)
- Line (close)Line through closing prices
- Area (close)Filled area under the closing-price line
- Baseline (vs first close)Closing price above or below the first close of the loaded range
- Histogram (close price)Closing price drawn as columns from zero; this is price, not volume
- Hollow candlesReal OHLC; hollow body when close >= open, outline by close vs prior close
- Heikin-Ashi (derived)Server-averaged candles; derived, non-tradable values. Raw data stay available
- Renko (derived)Server-built bricks of a fixed size from closes; ordinal axis, not time
- Range bars (close-sampled)Bars that finish when observed closes span the range; not tick-built; ordinal axis
- Kagi (derived)Reversal-amount columns with thin/thick (yin/yang) strength; ordinal axis
- Line Break (derived)New lines only when a close breaks the last N lines; ordinal axis
- Point & Figure (derived)X and O columns on a fixed box grid; ordinal axis
- No indicatorPrice only
- SMA (simple moving average)Mean of the last N closes
- EMA (exponential moving average)alpha = 2/(N+1), seeded with the first N-close average

Watchlists
Personal lists of the synthetic instruments above. Only you can see or change your lists. Nothing here is a recommendation.
Checking session
Multi-chart layouts
Synthetic demoOne, two or four native charts with their own instruments, timeframes, forms and indicator templates; optional synced date range and crosshair; saved layouts.
Comparisons
Synthetic demoRelative change, rebased index, spread and ratio on raw closes, with explicit calendar and currency rules.
Informational alerts
Synthetic demoOpt-in, on-system notices for price or indicator conditions. Evaluated when you ask; nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is ordered.
Screener
Synthetic demoA bounded declarative screen with point-in-time data, provenance on every row and saved criteria.
Backtests
Research onlyDeterministic research simulations with explicit costs, out-of-sample safeguards and reproducibility checks. Not a track record.
Research (offline fixture)
Fixture onlyCited, reconciled reports from deterministic templates over immutable evidence. Not model-generated; live AI research is blocked.
Granular market views
Fixture onlyVolume profile, footprint, depth and tape on synthetic records. Not licensed, not live; real data needs vendor rights.
Instrument and indicator requests
Request onlyAsk the operators for something that is not in the controlled lists. A request is a note; it never adds data.
Availability matrix
Nothing releasedWhat exists for each asset class and output, and what is blocked. Counsel review has not happened.
About this demo
- Synthetic only. No exchange, vendor or customer data is used or served.
- Not advice. There are no recommendations, trading signals, orders or broker connections, and none can be switched on here. Indicators, comparisons, screens and backtests are descriptive arithmetic on fictional data, computed on the server. Alerts are informational notices inside the application only.
- Read-only masters. Instruments cannot be created or edited here. Watchlists hold only instruments chosen from this controlled list.
- Chart forms: thirteen are available: candlestick, OHLC bars, line, area, baseline, histogram, hollow candles, Heikin-Ashi, Renko, range bars, Kagi, Line Break and Point & Figure. The derived and event forms are computed on the server from the synthetic closes and are labelled as derived. Timeframes are hourly, daily and server-derived weekly, with a separate volume pane and SMA and EMA studies.
- Drawings: twelve tools — price line, rectangle, vertical line, trend line, ray, parallel channel, text note, Fibonacci retracement and extension, measurement and hypothetical long and short risk boxes — with exact UTC times and prices, optional snapping to the loaded raw bars, and stated formulas. The risk boxes are manual price distances, not orders or recommendations. Without a session they are temporary and disappear when the page is reloaded. With a development session you can save them, only when you choose to, as named sets that belong to you; saving, loading and deleting are always explicit, and undo and redo change only what is on the page. Event-axis charts keep your drawings but do not draw them.
- Sign-in: production sign-in is not built. A development-only mock identity exists in the API and is refused outside development and test; the session bridge used by watchlists and saved drawings exists only in explicitly configured development and test.
